Autism recovery and vaccine detox

How prevalent is autism?
Every 15 seconds a child is diagnosed with autism somewhere in the world (click here to see the Autism Clock: the number of children diagnosed with autism since January 1, 2010).
According to the National Autistic Society, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) currently affects 1 in 100 children. In the UK, according to Simon Baron-Cohen from Cambridge University, the rate may be as high as 1 in 56 children.  Neither the cause of, nor a cure for ASD is clear, although as the film on the right shows, ASD is often linked to vaccine damage (Vaccines, Infant Deaths, Autism, and Homeopathy – What’s the Connection?)

If you feel you or your children have been damaged by vaccines, please fill in this questionaire.

Whatever the rates of ASD are, the fact remains that a huge and expensive support ‘industry’ is needed to enable parents to cope, and
ASD has been estimated to cost the UK government about £34 Billion a year.  Despite this, a significant proportion of a generation may never be able to live independent lives.  Many parents find getting the support they need to be an uphill struggle, at best, and worry about what will happen when they can no longer look after their ASD child themselves.

Please don’t despair however, because homeopathy can improve many of the symptoms of ASD, and many children have recovered almost completely (see below).  On this page you will find many wonderful recovery stories and information about the use of homeopathy and other therapies for autism spectrum disorders and for vaccine damage in general.

“Homeopathy, without a doubt, is one of the best things to ever happen to our family.”

From Within, Without
The story of a mother desperately trying to save her son and a doctor passionately trying to save humanity. The journey of a boy with autism.

Nancy Korn had one dream in life–to become a mother. She and her husband Evan wanted a big family. After six years of trying, they finally got pregnant and gave birth to a healthy little boy, Lucas. His development was normal. But when he approached his first birthday, Lucas began to act strangely. By age two, Lucas was diagnosed with autism. Nancy and Evan were devastated.

They set out on a mission to bring their son back. Finding few answers in conventional medicine, they turned to alternative therapies. Some helped. Nothing cured. Lucas was still autistic. He still could not talk. One day, Nancy read about a doctor in Los Angeles who was using a centuries-old medical system, homeopathy, to treat autism. The physician, Dr. Luc De Schepper– affectionately known as ‘Dr. Luc’ — is a medical doctor, licensed acupuncturist and homeopath, an author of 15 books, and a respected teacher and lecturer worldwide. Despite his impressive credentials, the method—and the doctor—were controversial. But Nancy had a feeling. A week later she and her mother-in-law found themselves flying across the country to meet with Dr. Luc. After starting homeopathic treatment, Lucas begins to improve. The film follows their story over the next year to see if Lucas becomes free of his autism.

Saving a Lost Generation
Homeopaths in clinics across the UK, the USA and Australia are quietly getting on with their work. Using a protocol of homeopathic medicine and dietary changes a significant number of families are getting their lost children back.

Given the paucity of options available for these families, we owe it to this generation of children and their parents to bring this protocol to the public’s attention, and to demand that the potential of this approach be thoroughly investigated by a clinical trial.

Books on treating autism and vaccine damage with homeopathy:

Impossible Cure by Amy Lansky, PhD

After many years working at various Silicon Valley research institutions (including SRI International, NASA Ames Research Center, and three years as a consulting associate professor at Stanford), Lansky made an unusual career move: she became a student, writer, promoter, and, for a time, a part-time practitioner of homeopathic medicine. This was prompted by the miraculous cure of her son’s autism with homeopathy. She is dedicated to helping others — especially families with autistic children — discover the curative powers of homeopathy. Amy is the author of Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy (R.L.Ranch Press, 2003), a best-selling introductory book on homeopathy that includes the story of her son’s cure as well as dozens of other first-person cure stories contributed by homeopathic patients from all over the world. It serves as a comprehensive patient guide to homeopathic philosophy, history, science, and experience, is used as a first-year text by many homeopathic schools, and has been translated into several other languages. Autism: Beyond Despair by Dr. Tinus Smits

In this groundbreaking work, Dr. Tinus Smits reveals the step-by-step method which he has used for more than 300 autistic children. In many cases, the parents have declared their children 100% cured; in others, the process is still underway with significant improvement. His therapy is mainly based on Isotherapy, a form of homeopathy which is able to detect the causes of autism in children and which redresses them directly. He has made remarkable discoveries as to why autism is on the increase. This book is highly important for parents with autistic children and for all those who are involved in the care of these children.

‘In the 9 months of your treatment, our son changed from a non verbal to a child that is able to attend a normal school, speaking in full sentences and making contact with everybody. Amazing! The autism team says it’s a miracle. Your CEASE therapy is great. Our life has already completely changed. Thanks for all your knowledge.’ — Mother of Stephan

‘After three and a half months of treatment she has become another child. She has woken up, is able to express herself verbally and says what she feels instead of shrieking; she is more flexible, more open and more independent. It is a world of difference.’ — Mother of Dirkje

‘Our son Vasco is getting better every day, he speaks more and tries to make conversation with us; at school he’s going very well and learns fast. With the detoxification Vasco has made great progress. He’s almost “a normal” 5-year-old kid.’ — Parents of Vasco

‘It is as if I am in a second life. It is completely different from before.’ —
Siem J., formerly autistic child

Tinus Smits, M.D., homeopathic physician

Dr. Tinus Smits has studied homeopathy over 30 years, practicing as a lay homeopath before doing his medical training (at 31 years).  He finished his medical studies in 1986 and has been teaching for more than 20 years in different countries all over the world.  Vaccinations and their impact on children and adults always had his special attention. He has published several books and articles on the matter.  The last three years he developed an effective treatment to heal autistic children, the CEASE therapy.

His website contains many cases of recovery from what he calls ‘post vaccination syndrome’.

Homeopathy For Autism, Elitehealthwatch’s Blog, 24 April 2012
Receiving the diagnosis of Autism is a life changing event as it leads to a kind of despair and feelings of hopelessness in the parents. Parents feel devastated, as they are told that ASD is mysterious and there is no cure. The diagnosis is not the end of a process but the beginning. Classical homeopathy has been used with some success to both alleviate mental and physical symptoms, and sometimes to cure individuals with autism.

The following products and services may also be useful to help children recover from any vaccine damage and / or autism:
Foresight Association for the promotion of preconceptual care:
Foresight can help parents to conceive helathy children, and they also help treat ASD children with hair mineral anaylisis and nutrutional supplements – quite often they find Zinc and Manganese are lacking in ASD children, and they do much better after supplementation:
“One child in 5 we are told suffer from some form of “learning difficulties”. This broad term seems to range over the whole spectrum from inability to concentrate, dyslexia, hyperactivity to frank autism.  Many hundreds of these children have been brought to Foresight for hair testing and programmes over the years, and, as you would expect they all exhibit a lack of Zinc and Manganese.  It has been known for many years that lack of Zinc inhibits the development of instinctive mental progress. Many small animals have been subjected to studies which have shown how Zinc deficient young fail to suck well, to cut teeth when expected, to leave the nest and find food for themselves and so on. In other words, they do not mature normally, which means the brains are not progressing as would be expected for animals of that age”…. read more here

Diana Wright, Nutritionist
Diana offers individual consultations and programmes, andtogether with a medically trained Doctor, alsohelps to run a monthly Autism clinicrun by a charity called EAT.  Together they advise and support families with autism.  The following nutritional and biomedical protocols have been found scientifically and/or clinically to contribute to helping the biochemical imbalances that seem to appear consistently with autism:

Caesin and gluten free-IAG’S found in the urine, indicating opiod substances that can affect the brain
Improving gut absorption and digest
Supplementing essential fatty acids-EPA’s for the communication of the brain and DHA for the structure of the brain cell
Addressing gut flora imbalances
Supporting the immune system
Addressing mineral and vitamin imbalances, involved in cellular energy production and biochemical processes
Eliminating heavy metals
Improving detoxification pathways
Improving biochemical processes such as sulphation and methylation

These methods can help alleviate some of the symptoms, sometimes changing the person significantly

The Autism Clinic, London
The Autism Clinic looks at helping individuals with autism through the use of detailed questionnaires, identifying predisposition, birth and medical history, to diet and nutrient deficiency symptoms.
Effective protocols offering multiple treatments may involve:

  • Dietary Modifications
  • Nutritional Supplementation
  • Immunological Regulation/ Modulation
  • Homoeopathy
  • Gastrointestinal Treatments
  • Liver Support & Enhanced Detoxification (methylation and transulfation)
  • Glandular Support (adrenals, thyroid and pancreas)
  • Heavy Metal Clathration Therapy
  • Physical Therapies – exercise, massage, reflexology, kinesiology, lymphatic
drainage, yoga, breathing and relaxation techniques, etc.

Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS™)
– Natural treatment for autism, ADHD/ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression and schizophrenia

Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAP Syndrome or GAPS) is a condition, which establishes a connection between the functions of the digestive system and the brain. This term was created by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride, MD, MMedSci (neurology), MMedSci (human nutrition) in 2004 after working with hundreds of children and adults with neurological and psychiatric conditions, such as autistic spectrum disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD/ADD), schizophrenia, dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression, obsessive –compulsive disorder, bi-polar disorder and other neuro-psychological and psychiatric problems.
